The Cadet Journey, or the boot process, is a series of steps to receiving your senior boots. To clarify the process, these steps are listed below:
The sooner you get on the Boot List and complete your payments, the sooner you can come in for measurements and try-ons. Payments must be half complete in order to come in for measurements.
Make sure to be calling in to receive invoices to track your payment progress.
The Holick's Boot List is first come, first serve. If you do not make it on this list, you will still be able to either be on the waitlist for Holick's or be added to the Dehner or Calero boot list.
Payments and be made whenever you are ready, and it is recommended that you have a plan in place to make these payments. You want to have them completed by the end of the cadet's sophomore year in the corps to stay on track.

Boot Prices
All boot prices are subject to change without notice. We will post information about changes at our store front, on our website, and/or our social media. It is your responsibility to check for these updates and to inform your parents and any other parties involved.
Boot Deposits and Refunds
Boot deposits are final. To receive a refund of your deposit/payments you must no longer be in the Corps. The completely signed Corps Resignation Form must be provided as proof you are no longer in the Corps. You may receive all your payments, with $100 being non-refundable. If you have been measured an additional $100 will be deducted from your refund. If you have been measured and the leather has been cut for your boots no refund will be given. If you have a spot on the Holick’s list and wish to receive a refund you must come in to receive your refund on your deposit no later than October 15th of your Junior Year/the year that your boots are supposed to be made. This allows us time to fill your spot on the list with a cadet that is on our waitlist. If you are removed or have dropped out of the Corps after October 15th of your Junior year/the year that your boots are supposed to be made, your deposit and all payments will be non-refundable.

Measurements, Try-Ons, Pick-Up, and Important Dates
Before you are to be measured for your boots, 50% of the boot cost will be required. Measurements and try-ons are set on a first come first serve basis. All boots are custom made to your measurements, if you gain or lose weight or muscle after you have been measured, we cannot guarantee the fit or the ability to make precise adjustments. Please inform us of any weight changes as soon as possible. The fit on any boots not made at Holick’s cannot be guaranteed. We will make small adjustments to the best of our ability to ensure an accurate fit. Any major adjustments such as re-bottoming, can be made at Holick’s for a fee. If we are not able to make the necessary adjustments at Holick’s and the boots need to be sent back to the manufacturer the customer will be responsible for any fees associated with the adjustments. Holick’s is not responsible for any delays in delivery of boots from other companies and that are not made at Holick’s. Try-ons are done between the hours of 9 am and 2 pm, arrivals after 2 pm may not be accommodated. When planning for measurements and try-ons please call ahead to assure the proper staff is on site. Failure to call ahead may result in us not being able to accommodate your request. The deadline to get measured for boots is December 31st of your Junior year. Any measurements after said deadline cannot be guaranteed for final review. Holick’s does not contact cadets for measurements, it is your responsibility to come in by the measurement deadline to ensure your boots are ready for Final Review. Exceptions may be considered and are never guaranteed and are subject to a rush fee. All completion dates are estimates and are subject to change, dates are not guaranteed or promised. Final payment is due at the time of 1sttry-on. Holick’s will not release purchased items to anyone except the customer named on the initial order.
Boots left after Final Review
Should you not pick up your boots within 21 days after Final Review we will call and send an email using the information we have on file. If we do not receive a response after contact is made you will have 90 days to pick up your boots. Boots left in the store for more that 120 days past Final Review become the property of Holick’s Mfg. Co. and no refunds will be issued. If you know you will not be able to pick up your boots within 120 days of Final Review, it is your responsibility to contact Holick’s to make arrangements to pick up your boots at a later date.
